Candace Owens Reacts to RNC Snub: ‘I Would Have Crushed Obama’

*Conservatives can’t wrap their head around why political activist Candace Owens was not included in the lineup of people speaking at the Republican National Committee, which kicks off Monday

Owens has been a staunch Trump supporter for much of his presidency, even going so far as minimizing the impact that white supremacy has had on Black culture. She also created the #Blexit movement with the goal of persuading Black Americans to turn away from the “racist” Democratic Party.

In a now-deleted tweet, Owens said she would have “crushed” former President Barack Obama at the RNC, had she been invited to speak, reports. Obama took aim at Trump during the DNC last week.

“Donald Trump hasn’t grown into the job because he can’t. And the consequences of that failure are severe,” Obama said. “One-hundred-and-seventy-thousand Americans dead. Millions of jobs gone. Our worst impulses unleashed, our proud reputation around the world badly diminished, and our democratic institutions threatened like never before.”

*The classic novel by author Charles Dickens is coming to the big screen with a modern flair in “The Personal History Of David Copperfield.”

The film takes place in the 1800s and the modern flair is the diversity of the cast. David Copperfield is played by Dev Patel ( Slumdog Millionaire).

For those that are not familiar with the story of David Copperfield, the novel follows a young man’s journey through life has he faces poverty, becoming an orphan, and more.

Most films we see that take place in these times often only star Caucasians and people of color often only play the help.

Actress  Rosalind Eleazar stars as David’s love interest in the film. She expresses how the diversity of the cast wasn’t really discussed on set.

There was more of an unspoken feeling of this is how it should be. People of color took up space in these times as well and this is a story that everyone can relate to.

“ It’s a story about a young man trying to find his place in the world,” says Eleazar.

She also goes on the express her excitement about the character she was playing.  Knowing this film took place in the 1800s I was expecting to see Rosalind’s character as one of the factory workers in the film, but that was not the case which was so refreshing.

“I was happy to see the character just be a nice woman. Usually, in those times I would play a maid or prostitute,” Eleazar said.

As she mentioned  “The Personal History Of David Copperfield” is the story of a man just trying to find his way and anyone can fit into that story.

It’s the story of the trials and tribulations in life and because that’s a universal topic it’s good to see a universal cast.

*LeToya Luckett has reportedly dumped her husband Tommicus Walker following reports that he’s been cheating on her with Instagram groupies.

The husband of the Destiny’s Child singer has allegedly been having an affair as the couple awaits the birth of their second child.

Word on the curb is that Walker has been spending romantic time with a woman who is shopping their sex tape.

The Shade Room reported in now-deleted Instagram posts-that Luckett’s husband cheated on her with an Instagram model from Dallas, Texas.

The side chick allegedly contacted the outlet to show them videos of a man who looks like Walker. One clips shows him sleeping in hotel bed, and the other was filmed after they had sex.

Ace Showbiz reports that Luckett and her hubby first sparked split rumors last week when they unfollowed each other on Instagram. She also seemed to confirm the breakup speculation on Instagram with a new video showing her not wearing her wedding ring.

“Peace, A healthy whole baby, strength and a clear mind are all that I desire in this last trimester. I decided to take my @warriorlifestyleprogram to the pool & it brought me to a place of serenity. Grateful for moments like this #Keepgoing,” she captioned the clip.

After The Shade Room deleted the original post about Walker’s affair, he took to Instagram to blame the devil for controversy.

“The devil is busy and will not win,” he wrote. “Please pray for my family and especially my wife while she’s pregnant. This too shall pass. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

He captioned his post: “I love my family. I pray my wife does not go into preterm labor & my son healthy. God fix it & bless my enemies. Amen.”

Tommicus deleted the post then hopped on IG Stories and wrote, “Lord fix this in the name of Jesus.”

Days before his alleged affair was exposed, the couple held a virtual baby shower “for baby boy Walker.”
