Charli D’Amelio has racked up almost a million followers on Triller in just one day after she joined TikTok’s rival platform along with her sister Dixie.
The sisters, who seem completely unstoppable as they take over the internet, have clearly tried something new as they and their parents Marc and Heidi join the platform.
It’s clearly worked out for them, with Charli, 16, already boasting more than 900,000 followers, and Dixie, 19, building up a following of more than 500,000 in just one day.
Marc also built a following of more than 500,000, while Heidi has more than 400,000 fans following her.
While it’s certainly nothing on Charli’s 87 million TikTok followers, it can’t harm the wildly popular family to branch out – especially after they launched their own YouTube channel and look set to start a reality show.
The sisters have been absolutely smashing it recently, with the pair launching their own line of beauty products and both landing spots on the Forbes list of highest-earning TikTok stars.
While Charli has continued her reign as TikTok’s most popular creator and announced she’s writing her own book, Dixie has kicked off her music career, signing a record deal.
However, the younger D’Amelio sister has also opened up about how she’s terrified of making mistakes on the internet.
‘You always have to worry that something from when you were 10 is going to get taken out of context, or something that you might regret every single day of your life is put on the internet and you have to relive it,’ she said.
‘[The public] don’t really care what you have to say, they don’t care if you apologise, they don’t care if you’re truly sorry. They just want to make you feel bad.’
