Just when Adelaide appeared on track for a disastrous, winless season, they have sprung into life under first-year coach Matthew Nicks. Three straight wins has turned the rebuilding side’s year around and they will aim to finish with a competitive showing against the premiers.
Richmond took a little while to get going this campaign as they chase a third flag from the past four seasons. They have been involved in a tight battle for the top four, a position they will secure if they pick up the points here in their final match of the regular season.
Part of round 18 in the 2020 AFL draw, this match gets underway at 5:10pm AEST on Saturday 19 September at Adelaide Oval.
If you are in South Australia, you can watch this match on Channel 7. If you are anywhere else in the country, you will need access to Foxtel iQ, Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports. There is also Watch AFL if you are currently overseas. We have a full guide to the AFL season here.

Bordering on complete disaster and an unwanted place in history, Adelaide’s late-season resurgence has been a good news story of 2020. Victories over Hawthorn, GWS and Carlton have given their fans hope and also helped shape this year’s play-off positions.
They would love nothing more than to jeopardise the Tigers’ top-four hopes, but as much as we’ve been impressed by the Crows of late, we can’t quite see that happening. Richmond will likely be challenged, but should have too much to play for and emerge victorious.

Products marked as ‘Promoted’ or ‘Advertisement’ are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. Finder may receive remuneration from the Provider if you click on the related link, purchase or enquire about the product. Finder’s decision to show a ‘promoted’ product is neither a recommendation that the product is appropriate for you nor an indication that the product is the best in its category. When products are grouped in a table or list, the order in which they are initially sorted may be influenced by a range of factors including price, fees and discounts; commercial partnerships; product features; and brand popularity. We provide tools so you can sort and filter these lists to highlight features that matter to you.
We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labelling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
Providing or obtaining an estimated insurance quote through us does not guarantee you can get the insurance. Acceptance by insurance companies is based on things like occupation, health and lifestyle.
