Software vendor Ivanti has recruited cybersecurity vendors MobileIron and Pulse Secure to strengthen its presence in unified endpoint management, zero-trust security, and enterprise service management markets

The provider of IT management software solutions, backed by subsidiaries of Clearlake Capital Group and TA Associates, has signed definitive agreements to acquire MobileIron, which provides mobile-centric unified management solutions for mobile devices, and Pulse Secure, which also provides mobile and secure security access solutions

Under the terms of the deal with MobileIron, Ivanti will acquire all of MobileIron’s outstanding common stock for a total value of approximately US $ 872 million, a deal that the cybersecurity provider’s board has already backed

Pulse Secure, meanwhile, will be picked up by affiliates of Siris Capital Group Terms of the Pulse Secure transaction were not disclosed
