According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Serge Ibaka has agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers that will end a four-year run as a member of the Raps and reunite with former teammate Kawhi Leonard in L.. ONE.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the deal is two years, $ 19 million and includes a player option for the second year.
Free agent Serge Ibaka plans to sign a $ 19 million two-year deal with the Clippers, the source told ESPN.
The news comes about 12 hours after multiple reports indicated that Fred VanVleet was returning to the organization on a four-year contract for $ 85 million.

Marc Stein of the New York Times reported Friday that the Los Angeles Lakers were also interested in potentially signing gasoline. Stein reported on the Clippers’ interest in Ibaka on Saturday evening.
Ibaka was acquired by Orlando Magic shortly before close of trading in 2017 as part of a deal with striker Terrence Ross and a first-round draft pick.
The 31-year-old was a good fit when he got down to the raps, adding ground clearance and a defensive presence in the color alongside Gasol. Ibaka also played a pivotal role in Game 7 of the 2019 Eastern Conference semi-finals, in which the Raps defeated the Philadelphia 76ers on their way to their first NBA championship in franchise history.
In 228 games as a raptor, Ibaka averaged 14. 2 points per game together with 7. 4 rebounds and 1. 2 blocks. Prior to his time north of the border, Ibaka spent seven seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder and one season with the Magic.
