RCMP has charged three people in connection with providing ammunition to the shooter in Canada’s worst mass murder. These were the first charges since the Sept.. until 19. April in Nova Scotia.

Lisa Diane Banfield (52) from Dartmouth, James Blair Banfield (64) from Sackville and Brian Brewster (60) from Sackville were accused of. March and 18. Police said they had illegally transferred ammunition on April 1st.

The ammunition that was specifically cited by the police in the indictments was . 223 caliber Remington cartridges and . 40 caliber Smith and Wesson cartridges. RCMP investigators found that the ammunition was bought and traded in Nova Scotia.

The police said that the accused had no prior knowledge of the gunman’s actions as a result of their investigation.

Gabriel Wortman, a 51-year-old dentist, began his murderous rampage in Portapique, N.. . S.. . on the night of the 18th. April with a common law attack on his wife.

It ended 13 hours later when police found him at a gas station in Enfield, N, and killed him. S.. . , almost 100 kilometers away.

During much of the rampage, he drove an RCMP replica car and wore a Mountie uniform.

By the time it was over, he had killed 22 people in four different communities, set houses on fire and terrorized much of Colchester County.

Federal and state governments have launched a public inquiry to investigate events and police response before, during and after the killings.

The three commissioners of the committee of inquiry are expected to present an interim report in May. The final report will be available next November.
