Relationships are reaching breaking point in Coronation Street as Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) has a revelation for Kevin (Michael le Vell) about Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) – and it has far reaching consequences for Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Carla Connor (Alison King).
Elsewhere, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is keen for a relationship with Nicky (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) – but this brings him into direct conflict with the very dangerous Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew)
Abi continues to struggle to make amends with Kevin. She tells Jack to tackle bullies – so he attacks Hope. Kevin makes it clear to Abi that he doesn’t trust her parenting so she hits the bottle in despair.
Daniel insists to Kirk and Adam that Nick is just a friend. Later Nicky turns up for lunch and tells Daniel there’s a job going at her aunts B&B but she needs to clear her debts. Later, Nicky leans in for a kiss…
As Emma recruits for her sponsored silence, Leanne fears they will never raise the money but she is overwhelmed when Nick decides to sell his shares of Underworld.
Abi returns home to face the music but Kevin wants to draw a line under the past. Debbie sees Abi meet with Peter and demands the truth. Carla is troubled to hear that Peter has been calming Abi down. Peter tells her that he has stopped helping Abi but Carla is unnerved.
Tracy worries when Steve says that they need to sell the florist and Streetcars for the treatment.
Daniel sees Nicky off at the tram stop but when Kirk turns up, Daniel promises him that he has no intention of replacing Sinead with a meaningless sex worker.
Billy tells Mary that he’s hired a private detective to hunt for Todd. George orders a bouquet for Mary and it does the trick!
Adam is horrified to learn that Daniel slept with Nicky. Later, Daniel suggests a proper relationship to Nicky and he then suggests that he can help her quit escorting.
Peter asks Abi not to tell anyone about what happened between them. Later, Debbie corners him and orders him away from Abi or she will tell Carla he is prowling.
The private detective tells Billy that he traced the girl, who admitted she teamed up with Todd to scam a gangster. Todd has been missing since and Billy fears he is dead while Paul forms a plan.
Mary and Brian fall out over a flower. Michael and Toyah bid to keep a client occupied.
Peter has a go at Abi and resolves to come clean with Carla but Abi begs him not to, worried about Kevin. Peter promises that he won’t say anything. Peter tells Abi he values her.
Daniel is determined to help Nicky but Adam is not convinced. Geoff comes to Adam’s office and Daniel has a go at him for his use of sex workers. Geoff returns, having left behind an envelope…
Paul reveals to Billy that he has contacted the Gazette, who will run a story on Todd’s disappearance.
Michael is pleased when Grace stands up for him but she has to then dash home. Cathy makes Mary and Brian stop fighting.
After telling Debbie and Kevin that she is spending the day with Seb, she then remembers a physio appointment. She gets into a cab only to find Peter is the driver and Mary mentions that she saw Peter and Abi driving off together, Debbie tells Kevin that Abi is having an affair.
At the Rovers, Abi and Peter try to persuade Carla and Kevin that nothing is going on but Abi is forced to admit that she made a pass at him. Carla accuses Peter of tiring of a normal relationship now she’s back on an even keel.
Geoff returns to look again for his envelope and Adam is confused to hear that Daniel has already searched for her. Daniel hands Geoff’s cash to Nicky but will she accept? Meanwhile, Geoff accuses Alya of stealing his money while Daniel looks on. Adam confronts Daniel but Daniel denies all knowledge. Adam warns him not to cross Geoff.
