Vouchers will cover two-thirds of the cost of eligible upgrades, up to a maximum government contribution of £ 5,000

You will only be able to redeem vouchers against secondary measures once you have installed a primary measure and used the coupons for that measure

Additional work will be covered by the voucher if it is necessary for the installation of the measures

All work covered by the voucher must be performed by a TrustMark registered installer who is also enrolled in the program Your installer will also need to meet PAS and MCS standards when installing your measurements

Once you have decided which upgrades to install, we recommend that you get at least 3 quotes from certified installers to ensure you get the best value for your money.

You must receive at least one quote from an installer registered with the Green Homes Grant program in order to request a voucher

You will need to provide a copy of the quote when you apply If the quote seems unreasonably high, the system administrator may ask you to provide another quote

You can use multiple installers to install different measurements You only need to complete one request form, but you will need to provide a separate quote for each measurement

Requesting a voucher does not guarantee that your request will be approved. You do not have to commit to starting any work until you have successfully received a voucher

You will receive a separate voucher for each of the measures you have applied for the installation

Each voucher is only valid for the extent and property for which you have requested The voucher is only for use by the nominated requestor and cannot be transferred to another person

You can only start work once your voucher has been issued Any work started before this date cannot be claimed

Your installer may ask you for a deposit This should not be more than the amount they would normally charge It cannot be more than your expected contribution to the cost of the measurements according to the quote they provided you

If you are applying under the Low Income Scheme your installer cannot ask you for a deposit unless the cost of your measurements exceeds £ 10,000

When you use your voucher, the grant will be paid on your behalf directly to the installer
