London, October 23 (IANS) Moeen Ali and Sophie Devine will captain the Birmingham Phoenix men’s and women’s teams in the first edition of The Hundred to be played next year
World Cup winner Ali grew up a short distance from Edgbaston, where the team is based “Birmingham is my city and my home team captain in The Hundred is right up there in career termsI was born, grew up and my life is still based in Birmingham, so being Birmingham Phoenix’s first male captain is very special to me, ”Ali said in a statement
