World news – How to navigate through the daily fantasy football wildcard round options

The end of the seasonal fantasy season no longer means the end of the fantasy season thanks to the daily fantasy sports options.

In the old days when the NFL playoffs came up, you had no more fantasy options , at least none. With the advent of DFS a few years ago, you now have several options to choose from. You can choose to play just one game a day (a Saturday with three games or a Sunday with three games), play the entire wildcard weekend, or even play individual games.

The crazy guy likes bigger slates, there it’s easier to find value and you don’t have to rely so much on a Hail Mary touchdown from a cheap player. That’s why we choose the six-game slate for most of our campaign.

We prefer individual competitions. That way, you’re not going to compete against DFS whales filing roster limits and using a blunt force approach to gathering as many roster combinations as possible. With a single entry, everyone gets just one attempt to create the best roster.

Then we want to find a game to stack. This is even more advisable on a short board than on a normal season schedule. Pick the game you think has the most points and use multiple players from that game.

The bills are tempting but the Colts defense is good. The Rams will go with a backup QB or a marginalized Jared Goff, with a defense that has stimulated the Seahawks and Russell Wilson in the past. Washington can play defense but doesn’t score many points, so the clash with the buccaneers is over. The bears can defend themselves, as can the Saint D’s run. The Browns have a COVID issue and the Steelers offensive limped towards the end of the season.

That leaves us with the Ravens-Titans game. We’re going to combine a QB with a WR from the same team so we’re going with Lamar Jackson who presents us with a dual threat. And we’re pairing him with his favorite recipient, Marquise « Hollywood » Brown. But we’re going to give him a close finish to Mark Andrews too because the matchup is juicy.

We’re going to need the Titans to keep up with the scoring, so we’re paying for RB Derrick Henry and using WR Corey Davis, there AJ Brown is too expensive.

Throw in some affordable options from other games – RB Nyheim Hines, WR Tyler Lockett, WR Josh Reynolds, and the Defense of the Seahawks – to fill out the list, and we have a promising DFS list.

In a top offensive lineman without the head coach on the sidelines, playing against one of the top defenses in his first playoff game and franchise game since the 2002 season, we’re not going to use Mayfield this week .

The Bills’ D is weaker on the run than the pass, helping Indianapolis keep Josh Allen and the Buffalo offensive on the sidelines.

Scored in two combined games against CB Jalen Ramsey and the Rams in fewer points this season (16.7) than the average per game of the season (17.0).

On the flip side, Lockett doesn’t have to deal with Ramsey, and Russell Wilson finally remembered Lockett last week is on the team.

Had 12 Goals in weeks 15-16 before they went away last week. But he offers cheap perks when he moves away from Baltimore’s Mark Andrews.
