This from Marty Hall, co-owner of Dak’s Flowers, who says they worked around the clock to keep up with orders, but it’s good to know that everyone has a smile on someone’s face does magic when there isn’t much to celebrate due to COVID-19.
« The upside is that we get the ability and still get the ability to get flowers out, and we’ve been doing that all year round, » says he. « So that’s a pretty good thing, to be honest, to think that in the current situation we’re going to put a smile on a lot of people’s faces, that’s a very cool thing. »
« The last 12 Months ago it was pretty brutal for many, many people and we have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces, « says Hall. « Even if it’s just a little something that makes your life a little brighter or a little better for that moment. It’s a real blessing and we are very happy that we can do it. »
He adds, that it’s been a rough year for many, but a bouquet of flowers can help create a good mood.
« Too much doom and darkness in the last 12 months, » he says. « Now we have the opportunity to change that, even if it is only for a fleeting moment. Physically we will all rise above it, mentally we need these pick-me-ups to make life a little better. » We are very fortunate to be able to do this for people. This is a real blessing right now. «
