Welcome to IMSA, Kevin Magnussen. The newest driver from Cadillac Chip Ganassi Racing drove the DPi-VR No. 01 with a lap of 1: 35.412 seconds the fastest lap of the Roar Before The 24’s One-Only-Night-Session and sat down with his Cadillac colleague Mike Conway from Action Express Racing in No. 1 through 31 (0.40 s) and the AXR Cadillac No. 48 piloted by Kamui Kobayashi (0.108 s) in a two-hour excursion.

In LMP2, Nicolas Lapierre from PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports was the Top performer in ORECA 07-Gibson No. 52 (1: 37.099), and in LMP3 Riley Motorsports continued to impress with Oliver Askew, who was in No. 74 Ligier JS P320 (1m43.442s).

The two WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GT classes from IMSA showed leading laps by Nick Tandy and his No. 4 Corvette C8.R GT Le Mans (1: 43.615 minutes) as well as Scuderia Corsa’s No. 63 Ferrari 488 GT3 (picture) with Marcos Gomes on board ( 1: 46.503 s).

UP NEXT: The teams have a short 20-minute warm-up phase in the morning and close the roar m it their first qualifying race, which starts at 2:00 p.m. ET and will determine the starting order for the Rolex 24 At Daytona next weekend based on the finish order of the 100-minute race.
