It is estimated that one in 30 people had Covid-19 in London between December 23 and January 2, the National Statistics Office found.
According to modeled data released by the ONS on January 5 the rate on January 2 corresponds to around 290,300 positive cases in the capital, from 61,100 on November 22, or 1 in 145 people.
