World News – UA – Second chance for Tasmanians to get travel vouchers

Registration for the second round of the Tasmanian Liberal Government’s Make Yourself at Home travel voucher initiative will open at 7 p.m. tomorrow night

The second version provides an additional $ 5 million to support our tourism industry, bringing our total investment in encouraging Tasmanians to explore their own state to $ 125 million

Tasmanians who missed the first round or received a voucher in the first round and who have already traveled and redeemed their voucher for that trip, will be able to request a voucher on the Make Yourself at Home website tomorrow night

To help those without digital access, Tasmanians can also register by contacting the call center at 1 800 344 077 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. We remind you to call the call center only if you do not have internet access

Our tourism industry has undoubtedly been one of the hardest hit throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and as Tasmanians we can support them

Given the popularity of the first round, it’s important for Tasmanians to remember that this is a first-come, best-dressed process so be prepared to claim a voucher as early as 7pm tomorrow night and support our tourism businesses while enjoying what our beautiful state has to offer
