Bolton Wanderers are back in the second division today and start against Port Vale in December.

A nice move by Isgrove to get into the box and almost slip into Doyle, but it goes for a goal kick
Embarrassing walkers when Worrall cuts through midfield and Bolton’s defense to hit Gilks with a low finish at his near post
A ball over the top left, Montano finds in an acre space and Gilks comes out, but the Vale winger cuts it off and goes into an empty net despite Delaney’s best efforts.
Oyeleke and Legge gave the Valiants a two-goal lead in the early stages before Jones cut the deficit in half before the quarter of an hour.
There were chances at either end of the field but Vale added a third when Conlon came home from the penalty spot after Santos defeated Rodney.
A flank comes in from the left for hikers aiming at Kioso, but it has too much on it and it goes out for a push
Conlon steps forward and shoots from the penalty area into the roof of the net
Rodney falls after a challenge from Santos and the referee points to the point
Another great cross from Kioso on the right hits Delfouenso, who steers a strong header down the bar – there are definitely more goals in this game
Same routine as Doyle hits Crawford’s corner at the near post and Smith blocks it near the line – Vale then erases their lines
Crawford takes the resulting corner and Doyle meets at the near post, but it comes from a Vale player and hits the side netting
After a good time from Wanderers, Delfouneso finds Doyle on the edge of the box and Brown tips his effort over the bar
