“Since the end of WWII 75 years ago, remembrance has continued to be an important moment for the military community,” says Chanel Woodland, Legion Games Innovation Manager. However, due to COVID-19, this year’s commemorations will not be the same #PauseYourGame is not only an effort to raise funds to support our military community, but also to connect those who cannot. do physically in 2020 «

“This is the first time in 22 years that I haven’t worn the Remembrance Sunday uniform,” explains Dave ‘Daveytati176’ Tait of the 26th Royal Artillery Regiment “For me, Remembrance Sunday is remembered of all the men and women of service who have fallen […] of those veterans who cannot see the family, etc. I can sympathize because all I had during the lockdown (and after the knee surgery) was my dining room as I had nowhere else «

2020 has been a difficult year, so #PauseYourGame is a time to look back, reflect and move forward as a nation

“I am very happy to be working with the Royal British Legion for Remembrance 2020,” says Lomadiah “This is an incredible charity that has been affected – like many – by the pandemic The #PauseYourGame initiative is one way fantastic for gamers and their viewers to get involved from the comfort of their own homes and potentially win amazing prizes! I strongly believe in supporting our veterans with their reintegration into society and with physical or mental barriers No one should have to feel alone or lost, especially when they have already given so much in the service of our country «
