According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea rejected a loan offer from Everton for Fikayo Tomori four days ago

Romano claims following the snub, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have reached a deal to sign promising defender Ben Godfrey from Norwich, with the Toffees due to announce the signing shortly

Romano previously reported that the Merseyside side identified Tomori as their prime target as center-back, but Chelsea were more interested in loaning marginal defender Antonio Rudiger on loan
