As Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli judge and rate performances – and new host Tyra Banks adds her own commentary to the competition – ET follows through the two-hour episode to break down the better most shocking dances, emotional moments and scores

The show premiered Monday at 8 p.m. ET / PT on ABC, and ET brings all the highlights to you in real time with our live blog coverage below!

Even after a fun night of Disney magic, now is the time to give the ax to a couple

Tension builds as Tyra reads the results and slowly reveals which couples are safe until two couples are gone – and it will be the judges who will have to vote on who comes home and who gets kicked out

After all is said and done, it comes back to Anne and Keo, as well as Carole and Pasha

It only took the first two judges to decide that Anne and Keo should stay, thus reducing Carole’s time on DWTS

« My husband is going to be so happy I’m coming home, » Carole said after the vote, apparently in a good mood despite the elimination

Wearing an elegant blue dress, the reality TV star takes to the dance floor with a royal-dressed Gleb to perform an elegant waltz of Cinderella’s « A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes »

The dance is a showcase for their chemistry and Chrishell looks thrilled to be living a magical Disney dream

« Chrishell, the Belle of the Ball Magnificent You really looked like the ultimate Disney princess », praised Bruno « Gorgeous, beautiful, beautiful I could feel the romance unfolding »

The fantastic duo win two 7s and an 8 for a total of 22 out of 30, placing them comfortably in the top half of tonight’s standings

Jessa and Sharna bring fun, youthful energy to the scene for their jive, staged on Newsies’ « King of New York », and the energy is magnetic, while the technicality is a bit offbeat

The dance is the subject of seemingly mixed criticism from the judges Derek is far from thrilled with the footwork and musicianship, while Bruno enjoys the style and the work of the characters – and Carrie Ann is in the middle, agree with the colon

However, the scores are far from bad Carrie Ann and Bruno give them 7s while Derek gives a 6 for a total of 20 out of 30

This week’s performance means a lot to Johnny, and he becomes moved to explain that he dedicates it to his parents for their love and support

Johnny and Britt come out strong with a powerful rumba set on Mulan’s « Reflection », and it’s clear the Olympian is determined to give this dance and competition his all

As the golden glitter rains down on the duo, Carrie Ann is moved to tears by the performance, and she praises them by saying to Johnny: « I believe in you so much »

“What really impressed me, you started projecting emotions,” said Bruno “I could read that you were actually playing a character He came out of you and continued like that Because you got everything”

Their number brings Johnny and Britt three 8’s in all areas, for a total of 24 out of 30

Every Disney night someone ends up playing Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean This season the honor goes to Nev, as he and Jenna wow him with an Argentinian tango

There’s no denying that he’s watching the role, and digital pyrotechnics (and Jenna’s undeniable talent) elevates the dance – set in « Angelica » from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – to a new height

« I appreciated that your elevators were appropriate and that you didn’t hide behind the elevators, » adds Carrie Ann

As always, playing Captain Jack is a boon to celebrity, and it’s no different this time around! The pair wins three 8’s across the board for a total of 24 out of 30 – the highest scores of the night, to date

Vernon and Peta were tasked with delivering a series of quick steps to « Be Our Guest » from Beauty and the Beast, and they went all out for the elegant routine

With Vernon wearing a Lumiere-inspired yellow suit and Peta giving off impressive Babbette vibes, the duo own the stage and have so much charm and charisma that they can’t help but love what they see.

« What you created there was one of my favorite dances of the night, » says Carrie Ann

Love was also reflected in their scores They won an 8 from Carrie Ann and 7 from Bruno and Derek for a total of 22 out of 30

Despite an injured ankle, Kaitlyn isn’t going to fall without a fight – and she definitely has what it takes to win, even if she isn’t 100% right now

Kaitlyn and Artem come out strong with a beautiful Polynesian infused rumba on Moana’s « How Far Do I Go », and instantly conquer the judges

« For me the best dance of the night for miles, » praises Carrie Ann « I was delighted to watch it Great job! »

« You really reminded me of the shape of water Breaking waves, a wonderful swell, a continuous movement Total flow It was wonderful », marvels Bruno

Her ankle is not broken, Kaitlyn says An MRI showed she had tendonitis and cleft tibia – but it still hurts a lot

What doesn’t hurt are their scores The pair takes first place in the standings with two 8s and a 7 for a total of 23 out of 30

Carole has been dancing cat-themed routines since the start of the season – and for Disney Night, she’s turning into a cat A full-fledged cat Seriously, the couple are dressed up as lions and that’s another thing thing

The couple are stepping out for a samba set on The Lion King’s « The Circle Of Life », and it’s clear that they’re doing their best to work on her timing and steps – though it’s hard to tell. if it will pay off

« I’m stunned I’ve never, ever seen a samba like this », says Bruno – but not as a compliment

Derek says they deserve a 10 for the hair and costumes, but not really for the dance itself

If nothing else, Carole has once again achieved her goal: to raise awareness of big cats

Although their scores are less than stellar Carrie Ann gives a 5, Derek a 4 and Bruno gives a brutal 3 for a total of 12 out of 30 However, this is still a point better than their first dance of the season

« The biggest obstacle is just that you believe you can do it It’s not easy, » he says of the importance of following dreams « Hard work pays off Love what you do, do what that you like «

So by the time they step out, the couple have already set the tone for their number and their foxtrot set to “It’s Alright” from the upcoming Pixar Soul movie, and it’s clear their hard work has paid off. p>

« You were like a real gentleman with your wife And for the first time, [we saw] a real slow foxtrot Which is so hard to do, » adds Bruno

The pair ended up winning three 6s for a total of 18 out of 30, which matches their score from last week

Jeannie Mai wants to elevate her game this week, so she turned to the high-flying classic Pixar Up

Jeannie – in old lady make-up, including a silver wig – and Brandon – with big dark glasses – step out with a touching Viennese waltz on « Married Life » which, as Bruno puts it, « captures the essence of movie «

« I specifically chose this dance because J is the love of my life When we first met I imagined the start of this The minute I met Jay I couldn’t wait to grow old with him ”, she says

Jeannie then loses it absolutely when the judges reveal their scores: two 7s and an 8 for a total of 22 out of 30!

She’s so excited that she runs to Bruno – who awarded the 8 – and steals the scoring paddle as a souvenir!

Anne and Keo are perhaps one of the funniest, most unexpected and wild couples in recent DWTS memory, and it shows in their chemistry on stage

For Disney Night, the duo pay homage to Hercules with a quick step set to « Zero to Hero », which starts off strong – before a little slip leads to some wrong moves

The judges praise the couple on their bond, but they all point out that Anne and Keo just lost their timing and fell out of sync, which will always turn out to be brutal in the scores

This week Anne and Keo win three 5s for a total of 15 out of 30 As the score is disappointed, Anne continues to smile and look killer in her whole inspired by the Greek goddess

The Backstreet Boys star steps out in style and grace as he and Cheryl Burke perform a fun quickstep set with Disney’s Aladdin « Prince Ali »

The performer is certainly watching the role, and the judges can’t help but swoon over her improved footwork

« You improve and refine yourself every week, » Bruno wondered, « That’s what you do to win this contest »

Justina is out every week to present some fun, energetic numbers that woo judges and audiences alike – but this week, despite having a fun routine, she seems to be a bit short

Justina and Sasha hit the dance floor for a Charleston concert on Mary Poppins’ « Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious », and the Vaudevillian nature of the number was entertained, but criticized

« Honey, you are so deliciously delicious Almost addicting You can sell anything, » Bruno marvels, before announcing that it sounded more like a dance routine than a ballroom number.

As a fan of Mary Poppins and Justina, the number looks exactly right for the source material, but the judges feel a little different

The scores are not however devastating One 7 and two 6 for a total of 19 out of 30

Coach Cheer says she was disappointed with her poor scores last week and wants to come back to the ballroom with a bang for Disney Night

Alongside their partner Val Chmerkovskiy, the duo go under the sea, so to speak, for a Viennese waltz to the song from The Little Mermaid « Part of Your World », and it really impresses

« You surfed it with such confidence and connection It’s so good to see that You were fluid, you were flowing, » marvels Bruno

This is a sentiment shared by all the judges, who award the couple three 7s for a total of 21 out of 30 – their best score of the season to date

After a noticeable misstep during last week’s performance, Skai decided to tackle Disney Night was everything, and it’s clear from the start that she’s looking to make up for her previous crash

The duo perform a fun, 1920s-inspired jive on « Almost There » from The Princess and the Frog, and it was a lot of fun

While Derek says she looks like a « princess » on stage, he had issues with the dance itself Bruno says she attacked dancing « with concentration », and that she « has very well done «

Carrie Ann remarks how harder it must be to dance « without an audience, » which is obvious to anyone watching at home

They earn three 6s at all levels for a total of 18 out of 30. This is a serious improvement over last week!

In a red and white polka dot dress, the new host pays homage to Minnie Mouse with a fun and glamorous dress and the label’s Minnie ears

Disney Night is already here for this season of DWTS, and the world couldn’t be more excited!

Every season, Disney Night delivers some of the competition’s most memorable performances, and this time around, we’ve got plenty to be excited about

Hopefully some contestants can pull out all the stops, as someone comes home at the end and nobody wants to be the one eliminated on Disney Night It’s just a real bummer

Last week, fans had to say goodbye to NBA legend Charles Oakley and professional partner Emma Slater The pair were knocked out after the judges had to choose between them and Tiger King’s Carole Baskin and his partner, Pasha Pashkov

Oakley and Slater were tied for the lowest scores of the week, while Baskin and Pashkov showed remarkable improvement in their first week The big cat activist’s dedication to developing her dance skills was appreciated enough by the judges to win their votes and stay
