Pat Sajak apologized for yelling at a candidate on « Wheel of Fortune ». The game show host admitted he « finally caught » on Wednesday after Darin McBain, whose mother was a three-day champion in the ’80s, questioned an answer to the puzzle that was for things to do with begin with the word « kitchen ». « 

« Closet, oven, towels, sink, » McBain answered correctly, but, according to Fox News, wondered about the use of the word oven.

« You won! Don’t argue, Darin! You got the riddle! Ungrateful players, I had it! » Sajak answered.

The « Wheel of Fortune » host then said it was just kidding and had just « finally caught ». « Audience members disagreed on whether Sajak was joking about losing it to McBain.

« He veiled his anger in a ‘joking’ tone. But this guy was really disgusting, « replied one viewer.

« Pat tried to be funny! He wasn’t » mean « or condescending. I watch this every week, « insisted one Twitter user.

McBain finished second, taking $ 15. 350 home. He also received an apology from Sajak.

« I’m sorry I yelled at you, » Sajak said to him. « It’s just – I don’t remember your mother causing us trouble like you. «
