In the ninth minute of tonight’s FA Cup fifth round between Chelsea and Barnsley, the Blues looked like they were about to find their way back as they conceded a massive chance.
Alex Mowatt collected the ball in space on the left flank, stormed down before hitting Callum Hudson-Odoi with a fine bit of skill and floating a dangerous cross into the box.
Conor Chaplin threw the ball up and left it in the six-yard Area with a whole goal for the marauding Callum Brittain emerge.
Brittain’s footer just ended, which was certainly not to be expected. Kepa showed great reactions to bring his legs together and keep the ball out of the net.
